Pendola Wish List (revised 1/3/2012)

Camp Pendola is in need of a newer model, full size pick up trcuk that we can use for snow plowing. The truck known as "Big Blue" needs to be replaced. The replacement needs to be at least a 3/4ton, 4WD, automatic transmission. Nice to have additional considerations include deisel engine, duallies and heavy duty shocks. We are looking for a donation of the vehicle or the money to purchse the same.

Are you buying a new vehicle to replace your mini van or SUV? Pendola could use your old vehicle and you would be eligible for a donation deduction at Blue Book value because we would be driving it!!!

  • Items Needed:

If you think of Pendola as a place for people to live, everything you need in your house for your family we need for our camp family.

    Items include:

Camping equipment like silverware, cooking utensils, compasses, pocket knives and rope for everything from bear bags, to tie up sleeping bags to learn knot tying , and back packs especially any Pendola Packs that might be floating around out there.

Arts and Crafts items like used crayons, used candles, paper, pencils, rulers, markers, scissors, empty (clean) glass jars and other similar items are great to receive.

Indoor board/table games (new or gently used)

    Outdoor game equipment

    Nature items like binoculars

We could use one analog TV monitor with remote controls (27”-32”)

Donation of money will help us do many projects (some included on this list):

    A 12 passenger van.

    Floating Dock for the pond

Archery – arrows, strings and arm guards.  5 new bows (20# draw weight or less)

Addition of a drinking fountain near the Treasure Shack

Remodel of the boys dorm (Chief Seattle). It needs new wall covering, new flooring, and it would be great if we added insulation and new windows.

Remodel of the Staff House. This will need to be completed in stages with the most pressing need for a new roof. If there are any engineers out there who could help by providing structural drawings it would be greatly appreciated.

Plumbing projects include the Health Center, Caretaker’s House and Wally’s Place. In addition to the actual plumbing, these places need a plan to make them easier to drain back and be winterized.
